RECETA:  La Paella

Ingredients: (6 people).

˝ Kg. rice.
˝ chicken cut into pieces.
˝ Kg. pork cut into pieces.
˝ Kg. tomatoes.
˝ Kg. peppers (red and/or green).
˝ clove of garlic.
2 artichokes.
˝ glass of olive oil.
˝ glass of white wine.
1 litre of water (approx.).
1 bay leaf.
Salt.
Black pepper.
Pimiento morrón.
Seafood (prawns, mussels etc.).
Saffron (Azafrán de la Mancha) or Safrante.

Preparation:

1-. To start the preparation, put the olive oil in a saucepan and add the tomatoes, peppers and garlic all very finely chopped. Leave to cook on a low heat.

2-. Once the sauce is cooked, add the meat, wine, bay leaf and salt and allow to simmer for a while.

3-. Next add the rice and the artichokes and simmer for a few minutes. Add the water and the saffron or Safrante.

4-. Stir until all the water has been absorbed, turn off the heat and leave until the rice is fully cooked.

5-. Once cooked, remove from the heat and decorate with the black pepper, and cooked seafood.
